Jenny passed away peacefully at her home on Monday March 2, 2020, aged 63 years. She was the loved daughter of the late Tony and Judy White-Johnson, loved sister and sister-in-law of Chris and Susan, loved aunty of Olivia and Dylan, Tamati and Amber, Brittany, and Harrison. Loved great aunty of Maddox.

A funeral service for Jenny was held at the Shone and Shirley funeral chapel, 164 Tahunanui Drive, Tahunanui 1pm on Friday, March 6 followed by a burial at Richmond Cemetery.

"Jenny & I became work colleagues, early in the 2000s, when Mary King's pharmacy took on packing medication for many Chch rest homes. We remained friends after her move to Nelson, albeit that my visits were only annual. Jenny's humorous view of life made her a pleasure to work with, and this attitude served her well as her illness increasingly made life difficult. She bore her troubles quietly & with dignity, always making light of her situation, still finding reasons to let fly with a hearty guffaw!. Saddened now, as all who knew her are, there is a little comfort that Jenny's trials now are over.
