Both Ken and Allan Hall were close friends of my Late Father Bert & Mother Norma. Sorry I'm unable to attend Ken's funeral service but your photo of Ken here is just how I remember that smile. Except when playing Past vs Present Rugby at Tapawera our young hooker was told by Ken when the first scrum was coming together, you try hooking the ball son I will kick you in the shins. You were otherwise a good man Ken. RIP Ken.

Ken Hall To the Gorgeous Hall Family & all their better 1/2's, kids, grandies, & great Grandies. Loz & I, Greg, have this beautiful memory of how Bloody welcoming Uncle Ken, ( and Aunty Madge ) made us feel on Loz's 1st visit to NZ, from Aussie. I said I had relatives up here, as I pulled into their driveway, and drove up to the back door of the house, Loz was gobsmacked that I would just drive up someones drive to check out this house.when uncle Ken come to the door, & saw me, he called out to aunty Madge, "the Boy from Oz is here". They both made us SO welcome... Loz said I have an Awesum family.... True that.... Always felt so welcome visiting them.... Will miss those "chats" that you always got with a visit. A Bloody Huge lose of a Truly magic man. To all the family, we offer our condolences for the lose of someone so special, to family, friends and to so many. Luv Greg, Loz, & Brad and Daniel.xox

Ken, To the Hall Clan & All the others of this great family. Firstly, Loz, myself(Greg), my sons Brad & Daniel, offer our deepest condolences for the loss of uncle Ken. I have many memories of uncle Ken, aunty Madge, visiting their place out Woodstock, ringing them up, from over here in Port Pirie, South Australia, to say "Hi , how u doing ", and I always got a very good "chat " with uncle Ken..., seemed to "Love" to chat... My last visit to their place was special, as I took Loz over to NZ for her 1st visit to our awesome country. I had told Loz i had family that had lived around here, as we were coming into Woodstock, and said they had lived in this house, as I pulled into the driveway, & drove up it, to the back door of the house. Loz was sort of freaking out, that I had driven up some random persons driveway, to their house, when uncle Ken come out the back door, saw me, and called out to aunty Madge, " the boy from Oz" is here. he invited us in, & we had a cuppa, (well Loz did, I not drink tea/coffee), and some really good memories flowed, good chatting. when we left later, to go over to Kaiteriteri way, Loz made the comment, "your family are so beautiful, they make you so welcome", to which I said, "yeah"... Is a given, pretty bloody awesum family I was lucky enough to be in. So the memory is and always will be of how bloody awesumly welcoming, uncle Ken, aunty Madge, always made us feel. Memories ARE FOREVER. Rest easy uncle Ken, & thanx for all the "chats". Luv to ALL the family.xoxo Greg, Loz, Brad and Daniel
