Janina, thank you so much for your kindness and positive attitude when we were working together, you were my first rep when I started at Stuff and an absolute dream to work with. I will miss you a lot. My condolences to your beautiful family.

My Dearest Janina, My ray of sunshine. We had a special connection that only you and i will know. The ridiculous amount of hours we spent singing and dancing to Rod Stewart. I will continue to listen to him and think of you. I will miss you, just being you and being enough for everyone you touched in your life. I love you my friend. You are not gone, you have changed your address.

To our Janina/Jemima/Nana, The below e-mail you sent us when you left Tauranga to move back to Nelson exactly captures the Janina that was part of the Mediaworks Tauranga family: “Hi there my awesome workmates Just wanted to say as I get ready to leave (soon Tim – not right this minute ha ha) that I have been honoured to work with you all and share the enormous fun, good times and bad with you for almost 6 years. Thank you for being there for me when I needed it – you are a unique bunch of people whom I will never forget…and the laughter will always stay with me. I wish each and every one of you nothing but happiness, joy and success in 2013….and for your own personal dreams to come true. I will always smile when I remember my time in Tauranga -and never forget to call me when / if you make it to Nelson….it’s the same cell phone number. Best Regards Janina xx”

We will miss your sparkly eyes, your mischief and generosity. Janina was a valued team member who always thought of others before herself. She was so proud of her Estonian heritage and her Mother’s story and we feel happy that they’ll be reunited together now. Rest in peace Janina, we’ll never forget you.

"Mum, I am so proud to be your daughter. This week has been one of the hardest of my life, but I have taken such joy from the beautiful messages that are being left for you here, and on so many platforms. I have my experiences of you as my mum and friend, but I feel like in planning your celebration and talking to so many people (I am trying not to lose my voice before your service! maybe you would prefer that haha) that I have been able to look at you with new eyes. Your life was so much more than each of our individual experiences, and I am so blessed. Love you so much and I miss you very much. Love from Nat xxx"

Condolences to Janina’s family in your loss of your mother and sister. It was such a privilege to have known her and to have been able to share her recent journey to Estonia while exploring her heritage and meeting her relatives there. I will miss you my Eesti sister, kallistades, Ly Kristall-Burton.

Dear Janina, so very sad to learn of your passing. OWe never met but were Facebook friends with our beautiful Estonian heritage in common, to share our mother's stories and photographs of their life in Estonia and their daring escape from the Soviet red army to freedom during 20th-23rd September 1944. You impressed me as a wonderful, positive and courageous lady and I feel privileged to be your friend. My heartfelt condolences to Janina's family and extended families. R.I.P.

It's never easy saying farewell to an adored friend, Janina we shared so many gut-wrenching laughs, especially in Fiji all those years ago, and so many since. I will miss hearing that giggle and seeing your beautiful eyes well up with laughter tears. Listening to your stories of the Love you had for your Children and Grandchildren was always a pleasure as your eyes would simply shine and your heart flooded with pride when they were spoken of. I loved our long giggly chats and was so pleased to drive our Motor Home up to your door recently as being in Tauranga always seemed too far away. My heart bleeds for your family at this devastating time and my Love and prayers are with them as I know your Angel wings are cradling each and everyone one of them. Fly high our beautiful, darling..... We will love you for eternity.

Dearest Janina and Your lovely family, There is no bigger sadness than inside me right now… although there were oceans between us and thousands of miles you were to me like my New Zealand mother… I am extremely grateful that we got to know you and very happy that you were able to visit Estonia. Your lovability, brightness, joy, happiness, courage and bravery are admirable! You brought so much love and happiness to our lives… Thank you so much for that! We would still have so much to talk about….it’s still impossible to believe that we can't talk anymore…. Sleep peacefully, rest in peace - Our hearts are with you… In lovely memories You always stay with us! Me armastame ja igatseme Sind, armas Janina! Sinu Eesti perekond.
